Licenses and medical must be valid and up to date at time of application Pilot license preferably issued by Denmark, Sweden, or Norway*Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but must be converted before course start. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete background screening, a personal security interview, and alcohol & drug testing in accordance with aviation security regulations. The SAS Pilot Profile is the foundation for our recruitment, interview, and simulator assessments and focuses on overall suitability, not only technical flying skills. Professional application of knowledge and procedures The SAS Pilot Profile is a guiding framework applied holistically throughout the recruitment process to assess trainability, professionalism, and long-term suitability for a career at SAS. If selected to move forward, the recruitment process includes: Assessment Day (group exercise, simulator session, interview) Final checks (background screening, security interview, drug & alcohol test) Please note that the simulator assessment may be scheduled separately from the Assessment Day and take place at a later stage. Each step may be disqualifying.
